Legend of the Lotus Seven Research Materials This begins the presentation of research materials gathered by Dennis Ortenburger as he wrote his 'legendary' book about the Lotus Seven. Approximately 90% of that material is information on copies and not actual Lotus Sevens. As such it will not appear here. I do plan, at some point in the future, to include the Caterham information. Below is merely a teaser -- the original 'camera ready art' of an ad for the Lotus Seven as it appeared in "SPORTS CAR" in November of 1958. Would this be "Sports Car and Lotus Owner" by chance?
